Flippa – A Look Forward: BONS.com, RUUR.com, Terror.com, More">Flippa – A Look Forward: BONS.com, RUUR.com, Terror.com, More

October 31st, 2016 by Patricia - DomainBELL

By Aaron

Reserve Met and Will Sell

Payment.io – There a bunch of payment startups, and .io domains are loved by many startups.

ThinkUp.com – It’s not a phrase I use often, but bidding is solid. It was previously developed, and has an Alexa rank around 1.0 million.

Favoring.com – Other “-ing” sales on Flipa recently include Congratulating.com at $760, Welcoming.com at $2,000, and Crying.com at $5,150.

ZEMG.com – Bidding is still below the wholesale price of LLLL.com domains as I type this.

Reserve Not Met

BONS.com – A pronounceable LLLL.com, or per the listing, it means “good” in French.

Terror.com – Over 110,000 searches per month, per Estibot. For a commercial application, maybe the future name of a game or movie?

Portfolio of 294 Domains – Including Fouls.com, 2NU.com, AVVX.com, and more. When I see the following in the listing, I just assume it won’t sell, “The reserve is high because the value is much higher.”

A couple that have been up before, but I still like them. I just hope their reserves are coming down.

And, a few LLLL.com

Daily Domain Picks 10-31-16

Since it’s Halloween, I checked out Halloween.com, it looks like you hopped in the Delorean and went back to 1996. I would want to have a modern site that was mobile responsive. I remember someone years ago telling me they made great parking revenue on a Halloween costume type domain. The domain was just a parked page but they said September and October made excellent money.

Go Daddy Auction Picks 10-31-16 Powered by ExpiredDomains.com

A few 5N.coms on the list today, each have either a 0 or a 4.

CyclingBlog.com If you are into cycling this should interest you.

InvestmentBooks.com over $140 currently. Never tried to monetize a book website but I guess with an Amazon affiliate program and some others you could make some money. Maybe create your own invesment ebook.

TLDinvestors.com Turns 6">TLDinvestors.com Turns 6

October 31st, 2016 by Patricia - DomainBELL

By Raymond Hackney

TLDinvestors.com originally started as HybridDomainer.com back in October of 2010. My writing and research career started with 3Character.com and moved onto starting the .TV sub forum on Namepros. After spending 20 hours a day, most days focused on .TV, I started a blog at everything.tv again with a focus on .TV.

In 2010 I decided I wanted to start writing about more topics than just .tv. In 6 years TLDinvestors.com has published 3757 posts.

Over the years we have added writers such as Claude Dauman, Vincent L. Jacques, Ary Kenyach and Kassey Lee. I want to thank these individuals for their contributions over the last 6 years.

I want to thank my site administrator and wordpress guru Andrea Whitmer from NutsandBoltsMedia.com. Andrea has been an incredible help over the last couple years, everything from site migration, to keeping things running smoothly. She really is a phenomenal person who manages a lot of projects.

I want to thank all of the advertisers who have helped support the website over the years.

Thanks to all our readers for checking in daily and following on Twitter.

Today: Do End Users Lie? / Does EMD help SEO? / Crypto Currency Discussion and Showcase / And more.

Here are the new discussions and domain news that caught my eye today.

GZ.LINK – Is there any value in 2 letter .link domains yet?

Where can I find domain registry stats? – Does anyone know where to look?

Please appraise PPCSEO(dot)com – What kind of value would you put on this one?

Does EMD help SEO? – What are your thoughts on this? Do people still buy EMD’s for seo campaigns or are they outdated now?

Do End Users Lie? – This is a double edged sword I think. I don’t think most legitimate end users lie about why they need the domain. I think it’s probably resellers or end users that have experience in reselling that may bend the truth for a better deal.

Crypto Currency Discussion and Showcase – Do you have a favorite digital currency?

Why People Space o u t Their Domain In Marketplaces – Does this really help prevent indexing in search engines?

Below is another look at a few recent domain flips and flops, with data courtesy of NameBio.

Flips

FollowTheLeaders.com sold for 3,200 USD recently at BuyDomains, vs 115 USD on 2016-05-07 at GoDaddy. Another quick profitable flip from BuyDomains….27x in under 6 months. Whois information hasn’t changed yet.

JUP.com sold for 32,300 USD recently at NameJet, vs 23,500 USD on 2015-10-16 at Sedo. Approximately $4,000 gain after commission in a year.

FJO.com sold for 17,800 USD recently at NameJet, vs 9,820 USD on 2015-02-05 at NameJet. This LLL.com was more profitable than JUP.com both in gross dollars and on a percentage basis, but they had to wait a little longer.

QTQQ.com sold for 3,000 USD recently at NameJet, vs 1,650 USD on 2015-09-30 at Sedo.

Evaluate.io sold for 2,500 USD recently at TLDPros.com, vs 400 USD on 2016-06-03 at Park.io.

AnchorageDentist.com sold for 2,500 USD recently via Logan Flatt, vs 376 USD on 2014-09-25 at NameJet. Picked up by the dentists residing at ErslandDentistry.com (screenshot below), which is where their new acquisition is currently forwarded. This will definitely be more radio and ad friendly than customers needing to try to spell Ersland.
